Slender beauty of South film industry ileana is offering Producers a bumper offer of their life time. Yes, news is that ileana has decreased her remuneration from 1crore to 80 Lakhs. 

Sources say that, ileana’s entry into Tollywood with “Kick” after some gap has made her look more shining and glamour with little of jammed fat on her waist and cheeks. This made ileana to raise her rate to 1crore after the success of “Kick.”

Now, ileana wants to be fair for even in her remuneration part. After “Kick” once again ileana’s body doesn’t co-operate and she went on for nearly zero size. So, with disappeared fat, she is looking as usual in the same old look, not as beautiful as in “Kick.”

Ileana - Exclusive Interview

Ileana, without doubt, is numero uno star in Tollywood. And one of the highest paid actresses in South India. She commands huge following among the current generation actresses almost equal to a top hero! She was a part of the success of movies such as Pokiri, Devadas, Jalsa, Raakhi and Bhale Dongalu. She's rarely seen talking in public. Last year, she attended the TANA convention in the USA, and when the organizers booked a very big hall to meet the audience, the hall was jam-packed and people were standing outside too just to have a glimpse of her! She answered all the questions very patiently. Though we met there, the interview didn't happen then. When Jalsa and Bhale Dongalu released, I called her to have a brief chit-chat. Here are the excerpts from our conversation..

Sri: So, how are you enjoying the success of Jalsa and good response for your role in Bhale Dongalu?

It is a double bonanza for me. I am really happy about the success of the both the films!

Sri: Your film Pokiri was much bigger success than the debut film Devadas.. .

True, but Devadas is always close to my heart as it is my debut film and the character I did in Devadas is close to my original self. So I love Devadas a lot, not that I don't love Pokiri, but I surely like Devadas more!

Sri: You worked with best directors in Telugu within a short span!

Of course, I am very lucky to work with wonderful directors like YVS gaaru, Puri Jaganath, Krishnavamsi, V.N.Aditya, Trivikram gaaru, Vijayabhaskar gaaruetc. It is luck and my hard work which paid off to work with such a great directors.

Sri: How was your interaction with them?

I never had any problem with anyone. Working with them is like learing a new thing every day! But, above all, I definitely have gratitude towards YVS gaaru. I was totally a newcomer when I was doing Devadas and did not know anything about films. It is he who taught me patiently. So I am definitely more indebted to him than to others.

Sri: How do you rate yourself as an actress?

I am working hard and I am improving with every film, I could say, but I think others should tell that, and not myself (laughs)!

Sri: How was working with heroes Like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh and NTR Jr.?

Pawan gaaru and Mahesh gaaru are both much reserved people. They never used to interfere with others' works - their policy was to keep to themselves, complete their work and go. Tarak (NTR Jr.) is fun to work with. He mingles with everyone easily. But everyone is a real professional in that they all work equally hard for scene betterment...........Read More

Esha Deol wedding reception: Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan look stunning in ethnic outfits

 

A splendid affair!

What an end to the four-day wedding extravaganza? Esha Deol’s wedding festivities started with a celeb-studded sangeet and concluded with a splendid wedding reception on June 30. The party was big on celebs, politicians, and indeed high on glitz and glam with several B-town beauties looking their gorgeous best in ethnic ensembles. 

so, who was the cynosure of all eyes? Naturally the dulhan Esha Deol. This time no one can say that the dulha Bharat Takhtani stole her thunder. Dressed in a lovely pink lehenga by Rocky S, Esha looked resplendent at the event. Make-up, jewellery, hair were perfectly done keeping subtlety in mind. While Esha Deol chose orange and red outfits for most of the wedding ceremonies, it was nice to see her in pink this time. Also sister Ahana Deol went for a pink outfit. The voluminous layered lehenga in tulle looked wonderful on her. Mom Hema Malini too went for a similar kind of outfit like her daughter Ahana, but over the layered skirt, she draped a sari. Both the outfits were designed by Neeta Lulla. Needless to say, the mother-daughter duo looked ravishing at the reception.

Moreover, papa Dharmendra’s tie had pink stripes complementing Ahana’s dress. Isn’t that cute! Others who didn’t fail to make an impression with their ethnic choices were Kajol, Sridevi, Tabu, and Madhuri Dixit. The best-dressed among the ladies was Kajol in a nude-coloured sari. The actress pulled off a sheer sari really well and turned out to be quite a stunner at the event.

BO: 'The Amazing Spider-Man' beats 'Maximum'

Mumbai: While 'The Amazing Spider-Man' had the biggest opening for a Hollywood film ever in India, Sonu Sood-Nasserudin Shah starrer 'Maximum' has proved to be a disappointment. The Andrew Garfield-starrer franchisee film collected around Rs 30 crore on the weekend while 'Maximum' collected close to Rs 2.5 crore. Trade analyst Atul Mohan says, "Unlike its name 'Maximum', the promotion of the film was minimum which was its undoing.

The film disappointed big time. It was made on a stipulated budget and had very good performance from its lead actors Sonu Sood and Neha Dhupia but the film will loose money." He adds, "The Amazing Spider-Man has managed to bring in a lot of footfall but we expected the film to do better. Nonetheless, it is a big blockbuster."

Trade expert Amod Mehra tells us, "Maximum has proved to be a disaster at the box office but the surprise package has been Spiderman. It proves that English films are here to stay." Girish Wankhede, spokesperson of a multiplex chain said, "Spiderman opened moderately on Friday but jumped to double on Saturday. Even on Sunday the collections were extremely good for the film. The occupancy for us in all-India was 80 per cent on Sunday

Maximum' did not do well. On the other hand, 'Teri Meri Kahaani' has failed at the box office. 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' still have their audience and have maintained themselves in limited shows. On the other hand, Rowdy is also average." Mehra adds, "Teri Meri Kahaani is a disaster at the box office. Gangs has found a few takers. Ferrari would have been a huge hit had the producer not sold the film at such a huge price."
